The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the second shift day-to-day operations within various site locations, ensuring team members work safely while adhering to all safety policies and procedures. This role involves customer service administrative duties, delegating tasks, managing workflows, working on equipment with the team, and ensuring operational goals are met to exceed customer expectations. The Operations Supervisor is a full-time, exempt, salaried position reporting directly to the Operations Director.
Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday, 5:00 pm - 3:30 am
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the NS and CSX portal and rail management between 5pm- 3am.
- WMS (Camelot) and Customer portal administrative tasks to verify load accuracy
- Oversee the shipping and delivery of materials and warehouse personnel.
- Conduct daily shift meetings and delegate tasks to warehouse personnel.
- Organize and direct associate workflow supporting multiple facilities within 2 mile radius.
- Ensure personnel adhere to all safety and business policies and procedures.
- Facilitate security across all 2nd shift activity and locations.
- Conduct weekly fire suppression systems checks
- Complete routine facility maintenance as needed
- Conduct second shift employee training in accordance to Franklin Logistics' training guidelines
Additional Job Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory, distribution, transportation, and related processes to support organizational goals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues by collaborating with internal departments as needed.
- Collaborate with the Operations Director and Human Resources on staffing levels and performance management.
- Maintain training records for team members, ensuring compliance with training requirements.
- Operate forklift equipment in support of daily operations. This is a working supervisor role.
- Maintain an active floor presence, engaging with warehouse personnel, drivers, and vendors.
- Attend leadership meetings as required.

- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); experience with Camelot WMS is preferred.

Requirements
Experience and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required. College degree in Business, Logistics, or similar field is preferred.
- 2 – 5 years’ supervisor experience required
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Outlook
- Forklift Experience highly preferred
- Previous experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in an e-commerce or 3PL environment
