Head of Product Marketing, Bay Area
Job Description
About Firebolt
Firebolt is the Cloud Data Warehouse purpose-built for the speed, scale, and flexibility of data & AI applications. Our platform delivers ultra-low latency, high concurrency, and multi-dimensional elasticity—empowering teams to build data-intensive products that perform at scale. Backed by over $270M in funding, a world-class engineering team and an ambitious vision, Firebolt is leading the transformation of AI data infrastructure.
About the Role
We’re hiring a Head of Product Marketing to define the story we tell, how we tell it, and how we bring it to market. This is a strategic, cross-functional leadership role where you’ll shape Firebolt’s narrative, define our competitive edge, and ensure our products resonate with the developers, data engineers, and engineering teams building the next generation of data & AI applications.
You’ll drive messaging, launch strategy, product storytelling, and content across the customer journey—from top-of-funnel awareness to deep technical validation. You’ll also partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Developer Relations to connect what we build with what the market wants and how customers buy.
This is a rare opportunity to build and lead a product marketing function in a deeply technical, category-defining space.

- Work with Developer Relations and Field teams to scale technical storytelling and equip customer-facing teams with the right narratives and tools.
- Provide market and competitive intelligence to inform product strategy and roadmap planning.

- Hire, develop, and manage a small team of product marketers.
- Set processes and operating rhythms that scale as Firebolt grows.
Why This Role Matters
Firebolt is redefining what’s possible with cloud data infrastructure—and product marketing is key to telling that story. You’ll be the voice that bridges technical innovation with market impact.
