Job Title:

Video Technical Expert

Your Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Video Technical Expert to lead end-to-end production execution for FF’s livestreams, vehicle shoots, and short-form video content. This role will own all technical workflows across filming, equipment management, livestream architecture, production planning, and post-production delivery. The ideal candidate has a strong background in automotive or product video content, understands both studio and on-location execution, and can bridge creative ideas with scalable technical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical planning and execution for FF’s brand IP content, including celebrity test drives, product stories, user co-creation, and social campaigns.
  • Own camera operation, lighting, sound, and recording quality for daily shoots such as product walkthroughs, short-form videos, interviews, and B-roll capture.
  • Build and operate robust livestream workflows (multi-cam, signal routing, audio management), including technical pre-checks, redundancies, and contingency plans.
  • Maintain and manage all AV gear, including cameras, lighting rigs, sound systems, monitors, and switchers. Track inventory, schedule maintenance, and manage rentals.
  • Develop and enforce standardized shoot workflows. Coordinate with producers, directors, and marketing teams to ensure clarity, consistency, and delivery readiness.
  • Drive integration of video asset tracking, metadata tagging, and version management for all shoot materials, ensuring assets are searchable, archived, and accessible.
  • Own technical documentation and post-shoot reporting; optimize internal systems for planning, execution, and wrap-up.
  • Contribute to content ideation and format strategy with technical insights, particularly for high-frequency social media and mobile-first platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Technology, Communications or related field.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in video production, livestream operation, or AV technical leadership.
  • Strong proficiency in Sony, Canon, or Blackmagic camera systems and industry-standard tools (Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, FCP, ProTools, etc.).
  • Proven expertise in setting up and managing livestream environments, including encoding, switching, audio management, and viewer experience.
  • Experience managing equipment lifecycle, maintenance routines, and technical vendor relationships.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a high-speed environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional creative and marketing teams.
  • Automotive, tech, or premium product content production experience is a strong plus.
