Air Export involves transporting many different types of cargo throughout the world. It is a high paced environment with many learning and unique situations that come up along the way. it involves collaboration with commercial airline carriers, customs, and many other Government agencies. There is never a dull moment in air export!
Shift Mon-Fri 11am-8pm
Air Export Agent will serve in an operations capacity, responsible for processing export shipments including accompanying export documentation. Major duties and responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system
- Track and Trace Air Export files and reporting
- Use Workflows on daily basis
- Ensure arrival notices are communicated to overseas and customers
- Ensure accurate and timely client and Service Providers billing
- Collaborate with our customer service team in processing international shipments, meeting customer service standards.
- Contribute to maintaining good relationships with suppliers (Airline carriers, trucking companies and others involved)
- Always follow compliance requirements with internal and external regulations in accordance with government regulations.
- Understand department process flow, looking for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity
- Ensure all customers standard operating procedures are followed and are in place and updated when needed
- Meet KPI standards in accordance with the Company’s procedure
- Overseas communications, timely responses to emails and requests (internal and external)
Qualifications
- Effective interpersonal skills - including the ability to listen, comprehend and to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills are critical.
- Must have the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proficient computer skills - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Proven background for excellent attendance.
