Job Description

EVERSANA is currently seeking an experienced Lead MuleSoft Developer to architect and implement robust API integrations supporting Hub and Pharmacy programs within the Life Sciences industry. This role is critical to enabling seamless data flow across patient support systems, specialty pharmacies, healthcare providers, and partners to enhance access, adherence, and outcomes in patient journeys.

You will lead technical strategy and development efforts across EVERSANA’s connected ecosystem, providing integration solutions for B2B and B2C models in regulated environments. You will be joining a fast paced, supportive, growing, collaborative, and balanced team. You will be transparently communicating to all levels of the organization as well as to clients and partners.

 

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform high-level analysis of the requirements and design for integrations between business systems within EVERSANA’s portfolio as well as our partner ecosystem, supporting B2B and B2C experiences.
  • Build reusable artifacts, integration best practices standards, templates, libraries, custom connectors to be used by other team members.
  • Experience with Anypoint platform setup identity management, Client management, Roles and access, environment, VPC, DLB, AWS Gateway, firewalls, network, cloud concepts etc
  • Manage time expeditiously in a fast paced, growing, and continuously changing environment.  Be able to focus on delivery regardless of environmental distractions
  • Analyze integration requirements for Life Sciences systems including CRM, HCP portals, Hub services, EHRs, and specialty pharmacy systems.
  • Architect and implement API-led connectivity using MuleSoft for onboarding, benefits verification, enrollment, adherence, and fulfillment workflows.
  • Design scalable integration solutions that comply with HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, and other healthcare data standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on MuleSoft platform strategy, best practices, and governance.
  • Create reusable artifacts (RAMLs, connectors, templates) tailored for Hub, Copay, PAP, and Pharmacy ecosystems.
  • Oversee Anypoint Platform configurations: identity/client management, roles/access control, environments, VPC, DLB, cloud gateways, and network security.
  • Develop and review Mule 4.x integrations including:
    • API and RAML design
    • Message routing, transformation (DataWeave 2.x), error handling, and batch processing
    • Java custom connector SDKs
    • MUnit testing and validation
  • Lead the team’s technical deliverables, conduct code reviews, and enforce quality and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders, clinical services teams, and technical partners to capture and deliver integration needs.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Maven, Git, Docker) ensuring secure and efficient delivery.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog grooming, and iterative planning aligned with regulatory and operational priorities.
  • Document system flows, technical designs, integration specifications, and support handover processes.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.

  • BS in Computer Science, Analytics, Business Intelligence, related field or equivalent experience
  • Strong prior IT background as a developer, technical analyst, application support and or administrator
  • Relevant experience in MuleSoft 6+ years with 3+ years of Integration Design
  • Experiencing designing APIs and Databases
  • Strong understanding of agile and waterfall project delivery methods

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with Anypoint platform and developing integrations using Mulesoft strongly preferred.
  • Health care (provider, pharmaceutical, and/or health plan) experience strongly preferred
  • Basic understanding of TOGAF
  • Cloud solutions experience
