We are seeking an ambitious and creative Motion Designer to join our talented team. Our Motion Designers create visually engaging animations and graphics for a wide range of mediums. You will support our LA team of Producers, EPs, and Creative Teams to initiate the post-production process. You will also work closely with our Australian-based Motion Designers and wider Post-Production team, acting as a conduit between our LA and Sydney offices.
- Follow the Animation team’s lead in the creation of narratively, aesthetically and technically brilliant edits.
- Working alongside lead creatives, you will support from the initial brief & storyboarding process, through to delivery of a wide range of assets, from quick social assets to longer video edits.
- Create key art and design concepts from scratch, including creating style frames and references to communicate ideas.
- Provide design & administrative support to the Senior Motion Designers as needed.
- Create engaging motion graphics and animations for various digital platforms, including social media and dynamic presentations.
- Support our team by generating creative ideas and helping to pitch concepts.
- Work across large-scale After Effects projects efficiently and competently.
- Have an openness to learn and explore other animation programs including Cinema 4D and Unreal.
- Actioning small animation requests, like updating logos or supers
- Leans into emerging technology that can help Entropico's creative process.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- 3-5 years of experience in motion designing a wide range of projects, from shorter, social media-based assets, to longer scripted pieces, commercial projects and/or documentaries
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator
- Good design & composition skills
- Basic understanding of motion, movement and pacing
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Sufficient troubleshooting skills and initiative to solve problems
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Confident communication skills, including verbal, nonverbal and online
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively, both individually and as part of the team
- Strong creative problem-solving skills to address technical challenges & find innovative solutions during the design & animation process
- Experience working in collaborative environments, leading a team of designers or collaborating with other departments in larger projects
- DESIRED: Experience working with Figma and/or Cinema 4D

The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $100,000 per annum + benefits.
