Regional Finance Strategy Implementation Specialist
Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to lead the implementation of financial strategies across our regional operations. This role focuses on aligning policies and procedures related to customer credit analysis, accounts receivable, collection management, standardized financial reporting, and the development of key performance indicators (KPIs). The ideal candidate will also oversee forecasting and budgeting processes to ensure financial consistency and efficiency.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- POLICY ALIGNMENT: Develop and implement standardized policies and procedures for customer credit analysis, accounts receivable, and collection management across the region
- FINANCIAL REPORTING: Establish and maintain standardized financial reporting frameworks to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance with corporate guidelines
- KPI DEVELOPMENT: Design and monitor key performance indicators to measure financial performance and operational efficiency
- FORECASTING & BUDGETING: Lead the forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market trends
- CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION: Work closely with regional and corporate teams to ensure seamless integration of financial strategies
- TRAINING & SUPPORT: Provide training and support to regional finance teams to ensure adherence to new policies and procedures
- CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance financial operations
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field (Master’s or CPA preferred)
- Minimum of 10+ years in a finance role, with at least 3+ years in a leadership capacity or regional management role within the logistics or freight forwarding industry
- Expertise in financial systems, ERP tools (Oracle Fusion/Power BI) and freight forwarding software (TMS, FMS)
- Proficiency in analyzing financial data, developing KPIs, and driving performance improvements
- In-depth understanding of freight forwarding pricing models, billing structures, surcharges, and payment terms
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and internal controls in the logistics and freight forwarding industry

- Proven experience in financial strategy implementation, preferably in a regional or multi-location setting
