What the role of an Analyst looks like:
- Research: Analyze financial statements, market trends, and stock and bond reports
- Financial modeling: Create models to value companies, debt, and equity
- Client management: Build relationships with clients and help them achieve their financial goals
- Mergers and acquisitions: Advise clients on how to structure deals and analyze financial dynamics
Requirements
Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work both as part of a small team and independently
- Detail-oriented, organized, and ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and competing priorities without sacrificing accuracy or efficiency
- Strong analytical, quantitative skills, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Recent college graduate or someone who has 5-6 months of work experience in finance, accounting, actuarial, banking experience or internship experience is ideal
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Math, Quantitative Analysis, or related discipline
