SAP BPC Consultant - BADI Implementation

Key Responsibilities

• BPC Script Logic and BADI Implementation : Responsible for creating and implementing complex BPC script logic and BADI implementations to meet specific business requirements, involving the design and development of custom business rules, calculations, and other logic.
• Strong ABAP Experience with OOPS Concepts : Possess a strong understanding of ABAP programming concepts, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS), to develop custom ABAP programs and BADI implementations for specific requirements.
• SAP BW Modeling and Integration with BPC : Responsible for designing and developing data models, InfoProviders, and DataSources within SAP BW, ensuring seamless integration between the BPC solution and SAP BW.
• Proficient in ABAP Related to BW : Be proficient in ABAP programming related to SAP BW, including developing custom transformations, DTPs, and Process Chains. Familiarity with SAP BW data modeling concepts such as InfoObjects, InfoAreas, and ADSOs is required. BW/4 modeling experience is preferred.
• Strong FP&A Functional Knowledge/Experience : Possess strong functional knowledge and practical experience in Finance, Planning, and Analysis (FP&A) processes. Experience within the media industry is preferred (Amortization processes).
• Capable of understanding intricate business requirements functionally and creating comprehensive technical implementation proposals.
  
  

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
• 6 to 10 years of full-time experience in consulting and technical roles pertaining to SAP BPC Classic, SAP BW, and ABAP.
• A minimum of 2 full cycle implementations of SAP BPC projects.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing production analytics projects in challenging environments.
• Demonstrated capability in understanding complex business requirements functionally and translating them into robust technical implementation proposals.
• Strong proficiency in ABAP programming, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS).
• Extensive experience with SAP BW modeling, including InfoObjects, InfoAreas, ADSOs, transformations, DTPs, and Process Chains.
• Experience with BW/4HANA modeling is highly preferred.
• Solid functional knowledge and experience in Finance, Planning, and Analysis (FP&A).
• Experience in the Media domain and its processes ( Amortization) is a nice-to-have.
• Knowledge of BPC Frontend functionalities is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
