Children's Wisconsin is seeking a Provider IS Support & Educator to join our team. The professional in this role serves as an education consultant on improvement projects associated with the Children’s Electronic Health Record (EHR). Facilitates training and supports Credentialed Trainer readiness to ensure new providers and incumbent staff are properly trained to use Children’s EHR. Duties include working on cross-functional project teams to analyze end-user performance support needs, and designing, developing and implementing solutions. Acts as a key contact and resource for providers related to hospital-related operations, issues, and questions. Within the department, duties include supporting template development and usage, supporting online learning strategy and processes, and helping department leadership plan and execute training strategy for Children’s
Location & Hours: Full-Time and onsite Children's Wisconsin Main Campus. This role is not remote.
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification
Epic credentialed in primary application preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field, IS, or education.
Experience
Requires 1 year of experience in training
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Exhibits guiding behaviors that reflect Children’s values and support our mission and vision.
Excellent written and verbal communication, listening and analytical skills necessary to interact with internal and external customers required.
Demonstrated ability to create, maintain and apply documentation templates to develop training deliverables.
Understanding of and ability to apply change management principles to projects.
Organizational skills to complete multiple concurrent tasks supporting a wide variety of programs and functions.
MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) proficiency required.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Normal office environment where there is no reasonable potential for exposure to blood or other high risk body fluids.
Preferred Job Requirements
Epic certification preferred or completion of Epic certification in primary job-specific application within 6 months of employment.
Education
Experience in a pediatric healthcare environment preferred.
Experience
Previous program facilitation experience preferred.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Advanced MS Office skills preferred.
