Responsibilities

As an Assistant Nurse Manager at Clovis Community, you’ll support a dynamic Short Stay Surgery team specializing in pre- and post-procedural care. In this fast-paced environment caring for patients with mid to low acuity needs, you’ll help lead operations that contribute to over 26,000 surgical cases per year across the system. 

• Apply the leadership and administrative skills you developed at the bedside to ensure efficient patient flow and coordinated, compassionate care. 
• Coordinate patient care, foster staff development, drive performance improvements, and ensure operational efficiency. 
• Create a positive working environment that values inclusion, diversity, and career growth for every team member. 

As a member of the unit leadership team, the Assistant Nurse Manager is an exempt level role scheduled 8-hour shifts. 

Qualifications

• RN – Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required 

• BLS – Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required 

• Certifications as required for the unit
