Responsibilities
Clovis Community’s Level II NICU cares for infants born as early as 32 weeks gestation and provides a higher level of care without needing to transfer babies to another facility. Recognized by The Joint Commission for excellence in perinatal care, Clovis Community’s NICU fosters a compassionate, family-centered environment where parents are encouraged to partner in their infant’s care.
- Apply the leadership and administrative skills you developed at the bedside to support our Level II NICU.
- Coordinate patient care, facilitate staff development, drive performance improvements, and ensure operational efficiency.
- Foster a positive working environment in your unit as part of an inclusive workplace where diversity and individual differences are valued, and you actively help team members navigate their career growth and development.
As a member of the unit leadership team, the Assistant Nurse Manager is an exempt level role scheduled 8-hour shifts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree of Science in Nursing (BSN or MSN) required
- RN – Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
- BLS – Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
- NRP – National Resuscitation Program required
- NICRNC – Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse required
