Key Responsibilities:

•  Review payer contracts and set up payers in PointClickCare.
• Update and audit General Ledger (GL) mapping and reimbursement rates in PointClickCare.
• Record and reconcile revenue transactions to maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly revenue reports, providing insights into revenue trends and variances.
• Ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards and internal policies to uphold financial integrity.
• Support the accounts receivable process to facilitate timely collections and accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary data for revenue reporting and analysis.
• Participate in audits, responding to inquiries and providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance your revenue and accounting skills and knowledge.
• Update and audit General Ledger (GL) mapping and reimbursement rates in PointClickCare.

Requirements

•  Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of Business Office Manager experience in the skilled nursing setting. 
• Experience in multi-facility oversight preferred.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and revenue recognition standards.
• Proficiency in PCC and MS Excel; experience with accounting software is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with various departments.
