Why do we need you? Well, we are looking for a Technical Recruiter who will bring adaptability, ownership, and a strong desire to deliver results into filling Engineering roles. You will report to the Head of Talent Acquisition and will be responsible for owning the end to end Recruiting of Engineering roles from junior to Principal level as well as Management level.
A day in the life of a Technical Recruiter at Calendly
You will join a team of 4 fast-paced recruiters in an ambiguous environment, charged with delivering hires across the Engineering organization, while ensuring that candidate experience and hiring output remain top priorities for Calendly’s most critical businesses. This role will work collaboratively across the Recruiting team and Engineering business working directly with hiring managers to fill core Engineering, Data, ML and Site Reliability roles. You will have outstanding time management and communication skills and be eager to own and manage the full-cycle recruiting process, from sourcing and screening to the final offer.
On a typical day, you will be working on:
- Own reqs across Engineering; Up to 12 reqs at times from junior to senior management level
- Work with your team and business to ensure requisition priority alignment
- Use TalentWall to track your hiring progress and candidate funnel
- Report out to business and TA team hiring progress to plan
- Do outbound candidate searches as well as internal applicant assessments
- Schedule and execute 20-25 Recruiter screens or more a week across your roles
- Managing the full-cycle recruiting process in Greenhouse applicant tracking system
- Utilizing recruiting metrics to measure how effective and efficient the process is and identify areas for improvement
What do we need from you?
- 5+ years of recruiting experience for Engineering and Technical roles (mix of agency and in-house)
- Direct experience working in Greenhouse ATS
- Demonstrated experience building and scaling hiring processes end to end;
- Demonstrated experience building, maintaining and presenting Recruiting data with line level hiring managers to partner on pipeline solutions
- Demonstrated ability to build a talent pipeline, meet deadlines and exceed goals
- Expert in technical role fill strategies, LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools
- Fantastic written and verbal communication skills
- Impeccable time management skills and an ability to self-direct
- Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship at this time

The ranges listed below are the expected annual base salary for this role, subject to change.
Calendly takes a number of factors into consideration when determining an employee’s starting salary, including relevant experience, relevant skills sets, interview performance, location/metropolitan area, and internal pay equity.
Base salary is just one component of Calendly’s total rewards package. All full-time (30 hours/week) employees are also eligible for our Quarterly Corporate Bonus program (or Sales incentive), equity awards, and competitive benefits.
Calendly uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location, or the onsite building location if hybrid, to determine which metropolitan pay range we use. Current geographic zones are as follows:
- Tier 1: San Francisco, CA, San Jose, CA, New York City, NY
- Tier 2: Chicago, IL, Austin, TX, Denver, CO, Boston, MA, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, PA, Portland, OR, Seattle, WA, Miami, FL, and all other cities in CA.
- Tier 3: All other locations not in Tier 1 or Tier 2
