Position Summary

We have an excellent opportunity for a Buyer who will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate procurement of materials to support production and business operations. The Buyer will work closely with the Purchasing Manager to manage purchase orders, maintain ERP data, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure supply chain efficiency. This position plays an important role in executing tactical purchases necessary for daily operations, tracking deliveries, and ensuring materials arrive on time to enable uninterrupted manufacturing operations. 

Position Responsibilities:

• Create and manage purchase orders (POs)
• Communicate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and resolve issues
• Maintain accurate ERP system data
• Expedite orders and manage recurring purchases
• Collaborate with internal departments to align procurement with production needs 
• Proactively escalate potential issues with internal departments
• Monitor vendor performance and lead time adherence

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing purchasing
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., GP) and Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrated understanding of supply chain fundamentals
• Technical aptitude to understand product specifications
• Strong communication and organizational skills
