Job Description

We do too! Join our team as a Content Developer and create high-quality math educational content using experience and skill to ensure accuracy, appropriate pedagogy, reading level, proper grammar, and visual interest.
Your Work Will Include:
- Assisting with project planning including development plans, prototypes, and tables of contents
- Collaborating with Co-Authors and Managers on product development
- Writing and/or editing high-quality content for print and digital products
- Ensuring that national, state, and local standards are implemented correctly
- Maintaining fluency with all Big Ideas Learning content and program philosophies
- Working with the marketing, technology, and production teams to develop products
- Communicating and readily collaborating within and across departments, vendors, and outside partners to develop highest quality products
- Attending professional development and stay informed regarding advancements in the education community
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Mathematics Education or other related Education field.
- Classroom experience, instructional coaching, and/or curriculum development experience preferred.
- Experience in developing Mathematics exercises and/or assessments preferred.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional listening, writing, and presentation skills.
- Resourceful and motivated to ask questions and solve problems.
- Effective time management and able to meet or better deadline requirements.
- A commitment to product success with integrity, a strong work ethic, professionalism, and a team-oriented attitude.
