Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Customer Success who combines rare technical depth with proven business leadership. This executive role requires someone who has successfully operated at both startup and Fortune 500 scale, with demonstrated expertise in managing mission-critical systems serving millions of users while building strategic partnerships that drive significant business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnerships & Business Development

  • Develop and execute comprehensive partnership strategies leveraging deep technical credibility and business acumen
  • Build and maintain C-level relationships with strategic partners, drawing on experience with award-winning product collaborations
  • Lead new business development initiatives for end-to-end solutions from product ideation to enterprise-level scaling across global markets

Customer Success & Product Leadership

  • Own customer success strategy for enterprise clients with focus on mission-critical, high-volume implementations 
  • Lead customer success initiatives for complex technology products including advertising platforms, video products, and enterprise software solutions
  • Drive customer expansion and retention through strategic account management and technical relationship building
  • Create scalable customer success processes for high-availability systems requiring 99.9%+ uptime
  • Establish customer advisory boards and technical feedback mechanisms to drive product evolution and market readiness

Technology Leadership & Innovation

  • Provide technical thought leadership on emerging technologies including AI, cloud computing, and digital transformation
  • Drive innovation initiatives that enhance partnership and customer success capabilities
  • Lead evaluation and implementation of customer success and partnership management platforms
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams on technical integration strategies
  • Champion adoption of automation and DevOps practices in customer success operations

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Executive Leadership Experience

  • 15+ years of progressive leadership experience with strong technology foundation and business development expertise
  • 7+ years in senior executive positions (Director/VP/Partner level) with demonstrated P&L and budget management responsibility
  • Proven track record as Managing Partner, Consulting Partner, or equivalent senior role with business development accountability
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams across development, operations, business planning, and vendor management
  • Demonstrated success in both entrepreneurial startup environments and Fortune 500 enterprise settings

Technical & Industry Expertise

  • Deep expertise in enterprise technology, cloud computing, and digital transformation
  • Background in product management for complex technology solutions
  • Understanding of DevOps, microservices, big data, and modern software architectures
  • Experience with mission-critical applications processing high-volume transactions

Partnership & Business Development

  • Proven success in building strategic partnerships and driving new business development with measurable revenue impact
  • Experience serving as trusted business advisor and consultant to C-suite executives across multiple industries
  • International experience with offshore and global distributed teams across multiple continents and time zones

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
  • Track record of award-winning product development and innovation
  • Certification in Agile methodologies and project management
