POSITION SUMMARY:
This IT Finance Program Manager position that sits in our IT Program Management Office (PMO) serves as the primary liaison between the IT and Finance departments. The IT Finance Program Manager is responsible for ensuring all IT-related requests, issues, and inquiries are effectively managed and resolved in a timely manner. They will work under the Head of the IT PMO, providing formal management and tracking of projects within the pipeline. A successful IT Finance Program Manager is organized, diligent, and proactive. This role requires strong communication skills, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate with various IT teams to deliver high-quality support and solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understanding data analytics and financial concepts to translate complex business requirements into actionable technology solutions.
- Identify opportunities for supporting and optimizing business processes and system implementations to achieve business goals.
- Deep understanding of databasing, cloud technologies, data structure optimization, reporting infrastructure, and SQL.
- Develop partnership with stakeholders across the Finance Department and Technology to understand business requirements and plan for resource utilization, project prioritization, project dependencies, and developing project documents.
- Perform business assessment, evaluate operational benefits of solutions, and convey benefits and gains to leadership and stakeholders.
- Produce all elements associated with a project plan and maintain key project governance documentation.
- Build long-term, trust-based relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and internal shared services.
- Ensure adherence to IT security policies and procedures, safeguarding company data and systems from unauthorized access and breaches.
- Manage Project Team by assisting all team members to ensure goals and requirements are being met and any risks or issues are quickly addressed, mitigated and/or resolved.
- Develop and maintain budget, project, and reporting documentation as necessary to ensure timely and effective communication of real time status through presentations and reporting.
- Must be able to manage several initiatives at a time.
- Other duties as needed or assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree – Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or Information Technology.
- Minimum 5-7 years as a Project Manager, with proven track record of Greenfield projects.
- Experience in Corporate Finance, Asset Management or Hedge Funds.
SKILLS:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to problem solve and liaise with departmental staff and senior management.
- Have a high degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability.
- Understanding multi-departmental Enterprises is necessary.
- Familiarity with Business Process Management, Waterfall, Agile and Lean project management approaches.
- Confident leading cross-functional teams, consisting of co-location, virtual, onsite, and consultants.
- Ability to work efficiently and seamlessly in fast paced technology and business domains.
Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registration
- PMP certification a plus
Location and Compensation:
- This role will be based in either Bayview’s New York, NY office.
- This role will be hybrid (Mon & Fri wfh, 3 on-site Tues - Thurs)
- Base compensation is expected to be $110 - 135 with the opportunity for incentive compensation including bonus compensation.
