Occupational Therapist (OT) - Ortho/Oncology

Outpatient

 

Hours: Full Time

 

Compensation depends upon candidate’s years of experience and internal equity.

 Salary Range: $73,840.00 - $102,252.80

 

 

BSW outpatient Midlothian is seeking a full time Occupational Therapist to join our growing team of 1 OT, 7 PTs and 3 PSSs.  This clinic treats a variety of diagnoses from general orthopedics, post-operative rehab, sports, neurological, lymphedema, splinting, hand, and work injuries.  We are looking for a team player interested in our community, program growth and working closely with physicians and schools.  We have a well-established relationship with the local Baylor Family Medicine as well as Baylor and AOA Orthos.  Hours are variable depending on the day to best fit the needs of the clinic.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain open and respectful communication with all parties
  • Understand and adhere to state practice acts and laws governing OTs
  • Complete and maintain required trainings
  • Maintain compliance with government regulations
  • Evaluate, treat and direct treatment for patients

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of those educational requirements as mandated for state licensure or eligibility for a license in Occupational Therapy
  • Current Occupational Therapy State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of practice
  • CPR required 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Outpatient orthopedic experience
  • Cancer rehabilitation interest/experience
