Casting: Televangelist Versus Newscaster

the film is about 2 warring television stations in the 80s, one is a sensational southern televangelist preacher program (in the style of jesse duplantis) the other character is a clinical nightly news program. both characters should have a southern twist: specifically from new orleans. the preacher's accent needs to be heavy and overwhelmingly part of his character (again, jesse duplantis style) the newscaster's accent is not as important we see them discuss the same talking points yet with vastly different opinions. the film is comedic but also dramatic-showing the differences between the 2 personalities.
