Associate Director of Marketing
Job Description
About Our Client
Our client is a fast-growing international B2B tech firm focused on delivering market-leading recognition and data products to enterprise clients across the US and Europe. Their award-winning programmes are trusted by Fortune 1000 companies, driving both brand impact and business results.
The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Associate Director of Marketing to lead and execute high-impact marketing initiatives, with a particular emphasis on email marketing and organic growth.
You will be a key player in driving enterprise engagement, increasing lead generation, and supporting the transition to a broader data-driven business model. You’ll work closely with leadership, directly reporting to the CEO, and a distributed international team (Germany, USA, UK, India) to build and scale marketing efforts across channels and regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Email Marketing:
- Own and execute sophisticated email marketing campaigns across enterprise audiences (cold outreach, nurture campaigns, deliverability optimisation).
- Ensure high deliverability and inbox placement, navigating modern spam filters and deliverability challenges.
- Craft compelling, high-conversion email content — both editorial and sales-focused.
- Content & Copywriting:
- Write clear, engaging, and professional marketing copy (emails, sales collateral, social media posts, landing pages).
- Maintain a strong, consistent brand voice across all touchpoints.
- Lead Generation & Sales Enablement:
- Partner with lead research teams to generate high-quality lead lists and campaigns.
- Develop and refine sales materials and enablement assets to support the sales team.
- Organic Growth:
- Drive organic marketing initiatives — SEO strategy (with external partners if needed), thought leadership, PR outreach.
- Support earned media and partner marketing opportunities.
- Visual Marketing & Coordination:
- Coordinate with design partners to develop impactful visuals and marketing materials.
- Ensure marketing content is visually aligned with the brand and drives engagement.
- Analytics & Optimisation:
- Track and analyse marketing KPIs (email performance, lead conversion, engagement rates).
- Continuously optimise campaigns based on performance insights.
What You’ll Gain
- Direct influence on the company’s go-to-market strategy and marketing engine.
- Close collaboration with leadership and an entrepreneurial international team.
- A pivotal role in a business moving from an award-based model to a data-as-a-service leader.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5-7 years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally with tech firms or startups.
- Strong expertise in email marketing, including deliverability and cold emailing.
- Exceptional English skills (native or near-native proficiency required).
- Hands-on, analytical, and results-driven marketer.
- Experience in lead generation, organic marketing, and sales enablement.
- Familiarity with tools such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Apollo, or similar.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international, remote-first environment.
- Bonus: experience marketing data-as-a-service or award/research-based products.
