Summary
- Augustine Casino is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our F&B and Executive team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities within our casino departments by providing administrative support to management.
Responsibilities
- Performs general administrative duties such as filing, answering phone calls, and responding to emails.
- Acts with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes the culture and values of Augustine Casino.

- Uses resources effectively and efficiently while implementing strategies to increase revenue and reduce operational expenses.
- Seeks to provide services that exceed guest expectations by anticipating and responding to guest/Team Member needs, measuring guest service, developing action plans to positively impact service satisfaction and integrating a “best in class” focus into daily routines.
- Assists in scheduling and coordinating events.
- Ability to follow and administer operating policies and procedures along with following all Health Department regulations.
- Manages and maintains accurate records of Team Member schedules and time off requests in Paylocity.
- Maintains confidential information with great sensitivity, good reasoning abilities, sound judgement, and resourcefulness.
- Maintains a calm demeanor during peak periods of high volume.
- Supports all new hire processes of screening applicants, scheduling interviews, processing paperwork for all F&B staff.
- Assists with payroll, proper tips reviews, scheduling, and on-boarding new hires.
- Performs cash handling skills & assist in new hire training and ongoing positive reinforcement of successful performance with respectful and encouraging coaching.
- Monitors staff to ensure they are following proper procedures, uniform, and guest service standards.
- Anticipates business needs by constantly evaluating supplies, inspecting equipment and reporting maintenance issues to management.
- Supports the management and maintenance of food and beverage supply inventory.
- Supports F&B Receiver to coordinate with vendors and ensure timely and accurate delivery of supplies.
- Prepares and maintains records of orders.
- Prepare meeting agendas; attend meetings to take minutes; scheduling future meetings as directed.
Requirements
Qualifications/Education/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in an administrative or related role.
- Restaurant outlet experience is highly preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must have basic math, computer skills and Point of Sale (POS) knowledge.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to multitask with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able and willing to work a flexible schedule to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Capacity to collaborate with executives and teams on a range of projects.

Applicants who are hired and fail to meet the agreed upon formal training program, will be discharged upon failure to complete the specified training as so scheduled.
