The Association of Former Students engages and inspires the Aggie Network for Texas A&M University in perpetuating the Aggie Spirit. Through our Annual Fund, as well as other revenue streams, we provide scholarships, endowments, emergency student loans, and awards for faculty. Our newest colleague will join our Aggie Ring team in advancing our mission by delivering excellent customer service and executing efficient management tasks on behalf of the Aggie Ring Program.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Reporting to the Manager of Aggie Ring Program, support departmental operations through:
- Time management and task prioritization.
- Work with a high degree of accuracy and detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills that convey the Aggie spirit.
- Follow instructions and processes.
- Availability outside of regular workhours during Aggie Ring Day events.
- Work with high degree of confidentiality and discretion.
- Contribute to special projects as needed.
- Interface across generations with colleagues and visitors.
ROUTINE DUTIES
- Maintain a commitment to premier customer focus in all duties.
- Create, coordinate and maintain Aggie Ring Order customer lists and distribution.
- Assist in planning and coordination of Aggie Ring deliveries, including shipment.
- Determine whether to delegate or handle a customer service request directly.
- Engage directly with Ring orders during heavy order periods.
- Evaluate academic records to determine Ring eligibility.
- Oversee lost and found Aggie Ring files and assists in returning lost Aggie Rings to their owners.
- Prepare daily deposits, refunds and expense vouchers and perform monthly invoicing tasks.
- Oversee the various Aggie Ring collections.
- Coordinate general office maintenance, security, and supply orders, as necessary.
- Participate outside of normal work hours for Association-related events.
- Assist with all communications and marketing initiatives of the Aggie Ring Program.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
EDUCATION
Required: Bachelor's degree or five (5) years of experience in lieu of degree.
Preferred: Bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (Minimum Requirements)
Detail oriented professional with exceptional interpersonal skills. Time management strengths and ability to work in a high-functioning team with numerous deadlines. Establishing correct priorities to meet associated deadlines. Must have strong communication skills including possible public speaking. Proficiency with word processing, MS Office, and point-of-sale software.
PHYSICAL CAPACITY REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit or stand for long periods on occasion and carry objects up to 10 pounds. Ability to work at a desk with frequent use of keyboard and monitor.

EMPLOYEES OF THE ASSOCIATION OF FORMER STUDENTS
- Participate in various Association-wide activities such as engagement and fundraising goals, internal event teams, task committees, attending gameday receptions, Distinguished Alumni Gala and other external events as required.
- Serve as an ambassador by meeting our Team Expectations, fostering relationships with students and other constituents of Texas A&M.
