Job Description

Position Summary:
Aspen Skiing Company is seeking a flexible, detail-oriented part-time (10-20 hours a week) team member to support our Marketing team across a variety of summer mountain activities, events, and marketing projects. This role starts immediately, with an end date to be determined. This role is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a world-class marketing team. This position reports to the Director of Marketing for Aspen Skiing Company.

The budgeted salary for this position is $26/hour.

Essential Job Functions/Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing and fulfilling creative requests, including print and digital materials
  • Support the team in building presentations and organizing marketing assets
  • Provide on-the-ground support for events and marketing activations
  • Help with picking up and dropping off marketing materials as needed
  • Manage signage needs & requests from key stakeholders
  • Pitch in on a variety of marketing tasks and other summer mountain activities
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure marketing efforts run smoothly and efficiently
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing

Qualifications

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (either currently working toward or obtained) preferred

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to tackle a range of tasks and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Comfort with light lifting and moving materials
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Additional Information

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Work is generally performed in a standard office environment
  • Ability to stand, type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements
  • Occasional adverse or hazardous conditions may exist when attending events
  • Occasionally requires walking over uneven or slippery surfaces
  • Not required, but preferred to be able to occasionally lift, push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance (weight limits can vary according to position, but no more than 50)
  • Occasional travel is required as necessary
