Description

 GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION 

Manage data reporting of clinical and billing systems, financial reporting management, and special projects as needed.


 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 1. Manages daily reporting of clinical and billing systems to include daily cash reporting, utilization review, visit and no-show rates, accounts receivables, dashboard reporting. 

2. Determines data needed to be collected and the appropriate data resources for specific health data projects. 

3. Formulates, implements, and works with management to enforce proper data collection policies and procedures. 

4. Manages contract with data collection software vendor as well as maintains close working relationship with software vendor. 

5. Ensures data system is operational. 

6. Troubleshoots data submission errors and data error issues. 

7. Ensures that all vendor updates are properly installed and rolled out.

 8. Performs and documents procedures for data preparation including data cleaning, standardization and analysis. 

9. Perform any other related duties as required or assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty mentioned satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  

  • Two (2) to four (4) years in data management, software supervision 

 • Effective communication skills, oral & written

 • Experience in Word, Excel, ADP Payroll and other applicable database programs helpful 

• Strong organizational skills 

• Ability to speak Spanish helpful, but not necessary

 • Effectively communicate with people in potentially stressful situations

 • Ability to consistently meet daily, weekly and monthly deadline 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

Broad knowledge of such fields as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc.  Equivalent to a four-year college degree, plus 3 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
