Job Description
Imagine what you could do here. At Apple, new ideas quickly transform into extraordinary products, services, and customer experiences. Safeguarding our most innovative and disruptive technologies is a core part of Apple’s culture, and the focus of our work in New Product Security. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the secrecy and security solutions that empower teams across the company to maintain confidentiality while driving progress. We are seeking a passionate, dedicated team member to oversee the program management of a complex hardware and software protection portfolio. With your expertise, there’s no telling how much you could achieve.
Join NPS as a Secrecy Program Manager, where you will own the strategy and execution of the processes and initiatives that allow us to announce our greatest products and features on our terms. This position will give you the opportunity to lead and develop highly effective cross-functional teams responsible for the delivery of complicated large-scale initiatives. You will provide day-to-day support to hardware and software engineering teams, deliver performance reporting to partners at all levels of the company, and roll-out policies and initiatives globally. It will require proven leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative approach to preventing leaks of New Product Introductions.
Bachelors degree 10 years or more experience in project management or operations demonstrating an ability to: Lead global cross functional teams to deliver initiatives on time. Overcome setbacks—changing methods, priorities, and plans to stay on track. Communicate effectively, both verbal and written. Raise key issues and options for resolution. Craft and deliver compelling presentations for Senior/Executive Leadership. Deliver tasks with minimal outside direction or supervision. Willingness to travel up to 25%, both domestically and internationally
Possess a practical understanding of security processes and risk frameworks through roles in: operations risk management, physical security, information security, law enforcement/intelligence or inventory management/loss prevention. Experience working for a multinational company on global manufacturing operations/issues. Experience with software development and/or successful cross-functional engagement with software engineering. Proven experience working on complex, international, large-scale, time-critical projects with multiple stakeholders and conflicting priorities. Demonstrable negotiating skills and ability to navigate big picture and small details. Proven success partnering cross-functionally with diverse teams to achieve strategic objectives. Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic and ambiguous environment. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels and distill revenant information for the right audience. Highly self-motivated and proactive, with demonstrated critical thinking abilities, creative problem-solving skills, and keen attention to detail. Ability to quickly adapt to and learn new technologies, with a strong aptitude for technical solutions.
