Anduril’s Facilities team is seeking a Facilities Manager to join our team. The Facilities Operations team is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the facility to ensure operational continuity, safety, and efficiency and reports to the Regional Workplace Manager. Duties include running routine safety inspections, partnering with contractors, planning maintenance work, and maintaining records.
As a Facilities Manager, you will manage the entirety of the building both interior and exterior. The right person for this role has extensive vendor and stakeholder management experience. If you are someone who exhibits a high capacity for multitasking, strong organization, and can communicate effectively (verbal and written) then this role is for you.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Manage and coordinate all maintenance activities for office spaces, ensuring that facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
- Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with service providers, including janitorial, shipping and receiving, and maintenance vendors.
- Prepare and manage the facilities budget, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections and addressing any issues promptly. Collaborate closely with Environmental, Safety & Health to ensure we are compliant.
- Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment and proper storage.
- Manage shipping and receiving operations, ensuring efficient processing of incoming and outgoing shipments while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Supervise contracted janitorial staff and services, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met throughout the office space, and addressing any maintenance or cleanliness issues promptly.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management or related roles, preferably in a large commercial or Class A environment.
- Proficiency in building systems, such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
- You have strong organizational and time management skills.
- You’re an independent worker who can work with ambiguity and drive to outcomes with minimal oversight.
- You have a strong attention to detail and an attitude of 100% compliance with all company and regulatory requirements.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Facilities Management Professional (FMP), or similar credentials
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
