Overview

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is an employee-owned federal government contractor supporting national priority programs through our strategic solutions in the areas of Information Technology, Test & Evaluation, Program Mission Support, Engineering & Analysis, and Training.

Responsibilities

• Performs research, collection and collation of data from studies on the latest energy systems solutions, such as shipboard energy storage and integration engineering, battery abusive Test and Evaluation (T&E), printed circuit card design, aircraft energy storage system engineering and T&E, and missile battery testing for various platforms in support of Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). 
• Experience in researching, analyzing and providing of next generation of energy solutions for systems such as missiles, shipboard, and aircraft.
• Recommends improvements of modifications in sequence of operations, equipment utilization in power and energy storage.
• Examines and analyzes current and contemplated operations for developing, defining, and coordinating user requirements. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of related work experience
• Active DoD Secret Clearance
