Alma is looking for a variable part time Event Coordinator. 

Alma is a nationally recognized restaurant owned by James Beard award winning chef Alex Roberts. We serve nourishing food inspired by the wonderful local farmers and suppliers that we work with.  Our commitment and care in our food and hospitality make us one of the most popular restaurants in Minneapolis. We at Alma work hard to serve both our guests and our staff. We have a world-class facility and a long history of making people happy with delicious food and genuine hospitality.  

This position is required to perform a variety of responsibilities from event planning, coordination and service that result in consistent, high quality hospitality in our restaurant and event spaces. This position will work closely with the restaurant Alma service team to develop and motivate members, through constructive feedback as well as continuing training and education to ensure the team is high functioning and having fun. The Events Coordinator will communicate with guests about their needs for their special event as well as communicating with the event and kitchen staff about what is needed and what is possible.

Requirements

• 2+ years management experience
