Join our dynamic team at Accredited Labs as an Accounts Receivable Manager! This is a unique opportunity to be part of a fast-growing team and have a direct impact in partnering with our Director of Accounting.
As our Accounts Receivable Manager, you will responsible for overseeing the invoicing, collections, and cash application functions of the organization. This role ensures timely and accurate recording of receivables, improves cash flow, and mitigates credit risk. The AR Manager leads a team of AR specialists and works closely with branch managers and the finance department to maintain healthy customer relationships and optimize financial performance.
This role is pivotal in maintaining the financial health of our organization as you will be overseeing the accounts receivable processes, ensuring that invoicing, payment collections, and account reconciliations are handled seamlessly. By maintaining precise financial records and fostering strong customer relationships, the Accounts Receivable Coordinator helps drive our company's success and stability.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment. This role is crucial in maintaining the company's financial integrity and supporting our commitment to excellence in all areas of operation.
Location: This position is based out of our headquarters in Dallas, Texas and is considered hybrid after 6 months from the start date but will still require at least three days per week in the office.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the accounts receivable team, including billing, collections, dispute resolution, and cash application.
- Ensure timely invoicing and accurate recording of receivables in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Monitor aging reports and lead collection
- Develop and implement AR policies, procedures, and performance metrics to enhance operational efficiency.
- Evaluate creditworthiness of new and existing customers; approve or recommend credit limits.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve billing discrepancies in coordination with the branch managers
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and audit preparation.
- Mentor, train, and develop the AR team, conducting performance reviews and fostering professional growth.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable
- 2+ years in an accounts receivable supervisory or management role
- 2+ years in NetSuite
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, credit analysis, and collections strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage competing priorities
Nice to Have:
- Experience in a high-volume, multi-entity, or global business environment.
- Familiarity with automation tools or software for AR process improvement.
