The International Operations Specialist will be responsible for supporting Sales and Operations to execute customer and vendor transactions in foreign countries. As a leader in innovative IT lifecycle management, we are committed to supporting our customers globally.  You will be customer facing, internally and externally, to communicate the global capabilities that we have. You will ensure that internal systems and processes are created and monitored to ensure compliance with third party requirements (vendors, freight forwarders, taxing authorities, etc.). You will maintain documentation about current capabilities and requirements for engaging in global transactions.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Maintain current documentation of procurement paths by country for international transactions
  • Remain current on AHEAD’s international capabilities, routes to market, and procurement paths
  • Ensure compliance with our vendor partner agreements with respect to international transactions
  • Capture key requirements during scoping process for international opportunities
  • Respond to sales team and internal client operations specialists when questions arise on international transactions
  • Provide timely, complete, direct, and accurate information to stakeholder’s inquiries
  • Maintain data within the ticketing system to support KPI tracking and to host a repository of questions and answers around international transactions
  • Maintain standard operating procedure documentation describing how to complete documentation required by third parties relevant to international deals
  • Familiarity with VAT rules by country to ensure sales and clients are aware of any additional cost related to international transactions.
  • Participate in presenting during regular training sessions with internal stakeholders related to international operations
  • Perform review of each international deal for compliance prior to the deal being procured
  • Work with IT to establish processes that better track and automate issues related to VAT, such as invoicing templates, F/X rates, etc.
  • Work with business applications to implement enhancements to our system to streamline data gathering process and governance around international opportunities
  • Consider and implement International Commercial Terms for international opportunities
  • Assist finance and operations with vendor bill or customer invoice discrepancies, as needed
  • Escalate requests to leadership when client requests fall outside of current capabilities
  • Support adding new capabilities to our portfolio which may include reviewing vendor set up documentation and other duties.
  • Other duties as assigned


Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Relevant industry experience
  • 2+ experience supporting a Company with transactions which occur outside of the US (including importer of record, VAT Compliance, etc)
  • Systems experience preferred: Salesforce, Microsoft Office

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings (“OTE”) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
