As a Media Buyer, you will be responsible for day-to-day campaign set up, monitoring and optimization of a wide variety of media tactics, including various social and programmatic buying platforms. Buyer will collaborate with all members of the buying team, as well as key cross-functional stakeholders including sales & campaign operations. You are focused on supporting KPMs ability to reach campaign performance goals, while also managing margin & the client ROI
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Primary focus will be on programmatic media buying platforms, including The Trade Desk, and social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, and others.
- Buyer will serve portfolio of brands and collaborate across an integrated team to ensure media plans are delivered flawlessly in line with client processes and standards.
- Responsible for executing the strategic plan of paid digital media campaigns for brands.
- Tagging and trafficking digital creative.
- Stewardship of campaign budgets including media vendor invoice actualizations.
- Monitor media in-flight; review campaign pacing and budgets to provide optimization recommendations, monthly campaign results, and post campaign recap including media budget reconciliation.
- Create weekly report updates on platform campaigns and provide data-driven recommendations that support optimizing campaigns towards brands’ desired KPI.
- Measure impact and effectiveness of campaigns using quantitative and qualitative metrics.
- Work closely with campaign operations & account management teams to communicate status & performance of campaigns.
- Lead internal and external calls on the paid media portion of the campaign.
- Assist in recommending overall media strategy for accounts from targeting, channels, and ad formats.
- Provide subject matter expertise on executing media campaigns across programmatic (DSP) and social platforms,
- Assists in day-to-day client & vendor communications.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors' degree B.A. / B.S or equivalent work experience
- 0 - 2 years of experience in market research, analytics, and/or media planning or buying
- Understanding of how digital advertising fits into the marketing cycle, the direction of the industry, and able to discuss with clients/partners in the context of broader business questions
- Ability to manage and prioritize projects based on team and company priorities, and deliver under tight deadlines
- Experience translating research into actionable insights for the marketing and advertising industry
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to use data to tell a story
- Curious about the "why" behind data, and eager to ask questions and learn
- Process, project and/or vendor management experience, with a track record of partnering with cross-functional teams
- Experience executing paid media campaigns through platforms such as Facebook, The Trade Desk, Pinterest – a plus
- Excellent written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills - able to build and maintain internal and external relationships
- Highly organized and able to multi-task while exhibiting meticulous attention to detail

- The stated salary range represents the entire span applicable across all geographic markets from lowest to highest. Actual salary offers will be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data and cost of labor.
